Artificial intelligence startup Anthropic seeks new investors, Saudi Arabia excluded

Sovereign wealth funds and other investors are rushing to buy more than $1 billion worth of shares in artificial intelligence startup Anthropic, sources said. But due to national security concerns, the company has ruled out accepting any investment from Saudi Arabia, despite the kingdom's ambitions to enter the field of artificial intelligence. In addition, existing shareholders including Amazon (AMZN.O) and Google (GOOGL.O) are not expected to increase their stakes in the company this round.
