According to news on March 23, as the Argentine peso (ARS) continues to depreciate, the country’s demand for Bitcoin (BTC) recently reached a 20-month peak.

According to data from crypto trading platform Lemon Cash, nearly 35,000 customers in Argentina purchased Bitcoin in the week ending March 10, which is double the weekly average in 2023. Lemon isn't the only platform experiencing a surge in demand. Other major trading platforms in Argentina such as Ripio and Belo have also reported similar trends.
