Sources: Spanish High Court orders temporary suspension of Telegram services in the country

Spain's High Court has ordered the suspension of the country's messaging app Telegram after media companies complained that the app allowed users to upload their content without permission, sources reported.

Spain will temporarily suspend users from using Telegram starting Monday following requests from media companies including Atresmedia (A3M.MC), EGEDA, Mediaset (GETVF.PK) and Telefonica (TEF.MC).

Telegram did not immediately respond to a request for comment. A spokesman for Spain's high court did not respond to a request for comment.
